At So-Motive, we collaborated with the Powerhouse Project to document their inspiring efforts in supporting women in football. The Powerhouse Project, with the backing of Sports Direct and Nike, has set up a female-only coaching platform designed to empower women, promote inclusivity in the sport, and provide a safe community for women to enter the game.
Our journey with the Powerhouse Project began with an in-depth onboarding process, where we immersed ourselves in their mission and values. Through this collaborative approach, we gained a profound understanding of their goals and the stories they wanted to share with the world.
During the creative phase, we brainstormed and explored various ideas, shaping a narrative that resonated deeply with the essence of the Powerhouse Project, including pre-written scripts we can follow that they appreciated greatly. We ensured that our brief captured their authenticity and passion for promoting women’s football and social mobility.
On filming day, our team captured a lot of the project as a fly on the wall, capturing the vibrant energy and dedication of the female coaches and participants. As well as stepping in where possible to add another level of creativity to bring the films to life.
Every cut and transition was crafted with care, resulting in a series of films that not only showcases the Powerhouse Project’s achievements but also celebrates their commitment to diversity and inclusion in sport. Our work with the Powerhouse Project exemplifies our dedication to creating content that inspires and makes a positive impact.
